it makes me feel as if I physically need to be sick not cause of the sight of her but because people are probably walking past staring, making her feel inadequote, that someone feels it's shocking when infact it's scary that she is in such a unhealthy state but i feel sad people are not more compassionate



who knows why what and how she became the way she did.

It makes me feel very sad. I know I know, personal responsibility, diet yada yada yada but I feel more empathy than anything knowing this woman probably gets treated like shit on a constant basis. The body is just not perfect and I realize that this is kind of extreme but just knowing that some people struggle in different ways with their bodies... I don't know. Sad...

I like to think I'm a decent person and I wouldn't belittle her either to her face or in my own mind, but I can easily laugh at the site of this picture and move on to the next topic, just as I can easily move on when I've viewed the videos of the Iraqi hostages being decapitated. This may be a wrong analogy, but the truth is I will forget about this once I've finished writing my response, only occasionally coming back to read the responses of others.
