Hangovers I have a terrible hang over right now. Its of the banging headache, sandpaper mouth variety. Not feeling sick but just yucky. Why do we suffer different levels of hang over? Do you not get hang overs at all? What do you find to be the best cure?

I find starting a thread in the void that is Saturday morning, then frantically clicking refresh every 30 seconds or so will only leave you disappointed... Personally, I'd go for a sausage sandwich

Personally, I'd go for a sausage sandwich I might do but I have no bread and they're pork and apple. I like the porb but not the apple because it makes the sausage sweet.

If you have HAVE to be active today, I suggest eating an apple () drink some juice and water, avoid anything uber greezy. After you've gotten some nutritious food in, THEN drink some coffee to get some energy and go on about the day.
But, if you don't have to be active forget everything I said above and eat as much cheese and salt and grease as you can and live on soda today

Your body is obviously still recovering and you want to give your liver another blow? Water and lots of it. That's why it's best to already drink lots of it before you go to bed so your hangover will be minimal when you wake up. [Edited 3/19/05 8:49am]

I've only had a hangover once, but I called all of the heavy drinkers I know that morning and begged for help.
Fluids. NSAIDs can help, but they are really much more effective if you take them before bed the night before. I found a bowl of tomato soup to be the only thing I could bear to eat, and it made me feel much better.
