extra-marital affairs

Something Fauxie said "extra-marital affairs" ... made me wonder

if they are extra marital, wouldn't that mean extra marital, as in extra affairs with your marriage partner ?

wouldn't it be called outter marital affairs if it was with the pizza man ?

eek

yeah, and it also means "outside cheese". confuse

It's not easy to think of a realistic situation where that would be a sensible thing to say though. hmmm

John 3:16-20 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Anti-popularity my friend. The last refuge of the unpopular to find a meaningful, though crap, existence. It is a niche, after all.

heh.
It's not just the rhyming difficulty (although sheesh did make me smile)

Think of a line which ends with "niche" which isn't pretentious or just laughably weak.

Should you accept this challenge and the line proves satisfactory (in my entirely subjective opinion), i'll give you a billion quid. smile

Here u go, pure chart-topping gravy:

Oh baby, I don't need to keep you on a leash.
You know, I'm a full-blooded man, despite the quiche.
I'm not the type to be insecure, sheesh!
I'll give you freedom to find your niche.

I think we can safely say that's a billion quid you owe me. nod

lol the quiche line deserves a billion in itself.

How about:

"You've told me so many times before
that every man will find his niche.
By niche, you meant, "dick", i'm sure
I found it on a microfiche."

Damn, that is weak. disbelief
