i worked reception at a job in new york once a long time back, and a guy named joe mama called to talk to the boss of the company. i thought it was a joke so i started laughing and teasing him, until he lost his cool and called me an asshole and said his actual name was JOSEPH MAMA.

of course, that's not a brand name. but still, sheesh.

Maybelline's a real name. I'd call my daughter Belle or May for short if she had that name....you know for a full scholarship, not given all the choices in the world. I actually like May, that's my grandma's name except it's spelled Mae. And I don't think she'd suffer being called Belle. Mae is kinda old school, I've been noticing a lot of young girls with "old lady" names.

I went to high school with a girl named Pepsi. I'm not joking.

It would depend on the company name. Enron? Tampax? No.

But Nabisco or Crayola? Maybe!
