dang, that's an old skool WaHa.

where i live, the waffle houses were all turned into some goofy chain called "sunShinE cafe" or something - i don't know why they have that wierd rave-on capitalization, but it got on my nerves so i hauled my fat ass over to the IHOP.

i don't have a denny's nearby, but there was always one around the corner when i was growing up. now, i have an IHOP down the street (across the street from my gym, ironically )...i don't think the food there is all that nasty, though sometimes it looks like they made it in an easy-bake oven.

next time you're in the area, though, you should go to northcoast diner instead. it's down the street from that IHOP, on broadway and addison, and the food there is divooone, especially as diner food goes.

ha! they're everywhere here. You can't drive 10 min. without seeing one. That's a good thing though. I always get the All-Star Breakfast. Huddle House is pretty good too.
