For everyday I only use liner (black liquid) and maybe a little lipgloss. When I decide to have fun with things I sometiems go all out, but lipstick is by far my favorite product. Mac in particular.

i use annabelle eyeshadow in dark brown, bronze and like a really light light shimmery brown, almost like a cappucino
and i use that from the brow bone down 2 the lid lol
but other than that i use BlackOpal foundation (shit 4 us beautiful black folks LOL falloff )
it works really well

and then i use rimmel lip gloss in a cutesy pink

edit: oh and i use waterproof mascara by avon...no curler, it curls them 4 me

Maybelline has the best mascara. Their classic Great Lash is good too. thumbs up! I'm not really into eye shadow....especially if it's above the crease. I love heavy eyeliner too, but not for everyday use. I hate lipstick, but I love tinted lipgloss and those Bonne Bell flavored ones.

im no expert, but, heres my advice..

foundation can be tough sometimes, skin changes shades as the seasons do nod and i only use foundation during the winter months... during the spring, summer, and fall, i try to let my natural color come through more. if you really wanna know, the best way is to stop by a nice department store and ask one of the ladies behind the counter.... they are pretty good at picking out shades nod but, dont buy it then shake go to the grocery/drug store and pick one out there, they are a lot less expensive - and if you get a nice one there, theres no harm done hug at least you'll have an idea about the colors that would work best on you. dont put it on to heavy... to much foundation can really mess up even the best make-up work barf go for something that spreads evenly... i like this one... works great on me

dont forget a bit of powder.. nothing heavy - that just looks caked no no no! go for a loose powder, one that you can apply with a BIG BLUSH brush, it makes it look more natural in the end i think.

personally, i have to then use some bronzer... it just kinda wakes up my winter-white skin and brings out my eyes a bit shrug but, to each his own...

mascara, it depends on what youre working with as far as your eyelashes go, and what you are looking to create. i like long, full lashes... you may just want to define shrug thats really up to you... though that XXL mascara i posted above is FANTASTIC and i highly recommend it nod try to get used to the eyelash curler... they look scary, but, really its easy, and i think it gives the lashes a nice 'finished' look.

eyeliner... well, thats personal choice too. im not into all the color crap for this shake i stick with black, solid black, not soft black.. but, again, thats just me. liquid liner is harder to work with i think, but, its more defining in the end nod typically i do only the bottom with liner... though lately i have been experimenting with the top as well. if its done well, it can make your eyes look wider, and a bit brighter too.

blush... thats really important. the wrong color will look horrible. strange as it sounds, i do like the this kind...

its great for defining your cheekbones... also, a nice tip i got from a friend of mine... try using your blush brush with the middle tone for your eyes. use it mostly in the crease of your eyes. it goes on lightly, and adds a bit of color there when you dont want to spend forever with eyeshadows. if you do want eyeshadow... work with a few colors from the same family nod the deepest color should be in the crease of your eye. a lighter shade on the bone part, just under the eyebrow, and a medium shade on the lid - closest to the lashes. again, i see that bright blue and green are comming back again barf i think that looks like shit, but, i tend to try to keep things more neutral shrug to each his own.

these big brushes are great... makes things a bit more natural looking i think.

lips... those are fun woot!

its my personal belief that if you are doing a lot with your eyes, i tend to downplay my lips - just a simple gloss, or maybe a little shimmer. if you do both, sometimes it looks a bit much shrug BUT, if im going out... i will do both as usually its nighttime and then the whole look has to change sigh lipliner is wonderful.. make sure to grab some of that in a color that goes with your lipstick of choice, keeps things from bleeding sad

oh, while you are at the make-up counter in the department store, make sure to ask them what tones look best on you.. for me, its either browns, or a deep mauve. i like wine for my lip color either way.... brown doesnt do well on my lips shake

good luck, have fun woot! and be womanly yay!

I think I like Lash Fantasy better...but XXL is easier to take off
