My life has recently become mundane. I'm going through it.I've taken mini vacations and had a blast but when I came back it was back to the same. I don't know what to do about it either. I feel like "what the hell am I supposed to be doing in life" I'm almost 40 so it's a big question and I feel like I'm running out of time.

look man, you go through life cuz you have to... its what you do in it that defines whether you enjoy it or not. you have to find a way to leave a mark here on earth, something that says you were here, you lived, you loved, you embraced your surroundings, and you had a good time. for some, thats having a family, for some its their job, for some its through music - art - movies - poetry - whatever their talent is. for others its as simple as being remembered as a loving soul... one that was always there for the folks around them, took the time to smile at a small child, passed on some sort of wisdom, or stood firmly for what they believed in..

you only get on life - what you do with it is your choice... but, dont waste it, because time stands still for noone hug

good luck sweetie, i hope you find your answers hug

oh, and a nice piece of pussy might help too wink

That's the whole thing, you don't have to go through life. People had us believe that. Stop thinking that what 99.9999% of us do actually leaves a mark. Everyone wants to feel special, but the fact is most of us aren't.

Nobody is ultimately more special than anyone else. A still born baby achieves as much as a groundbreaking scientist, secretary general of the UN or an executed rapist. That is, nothing.

It's about actually living life. Not talking about it on the internet or over thinking it. If you have the time to do so, then you are not living it, period.

Having someone close to you die makes one realize that every minute not living life is a waste and when you're old and in a diaper, you won't look back on the years you sat overthinking and posting on the web and say "I should have done more of that", you'll look back and say "why wasn't I enjoying life and all that it has to offer". Little things are taken for granted everyday and if you don't know what I'm talking about, you are not living.

No I'm not religious and no I really do not want to discuss it with you. Good luck.

thumbs up!

That's a bunch of bullshit. There's no such thing as not living life because you choose to do other things. If you're breathing, you're living period. I assume we all enjoy being online, some more than others, does that mean you have less of a life than someone who's never online? I don't think so.

What's considered living and what's not? Reading books, studying, working, working out, writing, making music, what?

If you don't think about life you're an airhead.
