the last 2 days i have been bombarded by adware..so much so i couldnt get any work done or use the computer it was too frustrating..well i tried everything and nothing worked..so i decided to start over and reinstall windows..well i log onto my earthlink account and it was so bogged down i couldnt even do anything on the internet..i started thinking maybe its earthlinks fault for the adware and the slowdown and not mine..well today everything is fine again the Earthlink connetion is back to normal but i just did a spyware scan on my computer and it found 255 adware/spyware files!..how can this be? could earthlink have been sending these files? i didnt download anything at all so theres no way i could have downloaded all those spyware files..i'm thinking maybe some hacker was hitting earthlink this morning and bogging down the system...any other earthlink users here have a problem this morning?

You don't necessarily have to download anything to have a website dump some shit on your computer.
