And now some of my ink.
The first 2 were taken while some of the tattoo was still healing, hence the scabs. Have to get this finished onto my hip/cheek and inner thigh some time this year.

No problems with the ink staying in on any of my tattoos - ankle / top of the foot are fine too.
The palm and soles of the feet are notoriously difficult to get the ink to stay in - you usually need regular touch ups on those two places. Any area of high movement, such as the elbow/wrist will also need touching up regularly. I think the knee is a bit more forgiving because the range of movement in day to day activities is not that great. And furthermore, you are making the body out to be something that it was not set up to be and that is taboo, no matter how you look at it. It is just a body...a beautiful expression of life, so how you wish to celebrate that fact is truly up to you, but you need to not think of it along those terms as you are really not seeing the entire picture. Celebrate your body and stop hindering the growth of your children according to something conjured up in some book. Location???? Pffffft. Carry on... thank you Dex. i love you. i couldn't have said it better myself...actually i was at a loss for words (and that doesn't happen often!!) i drew and designed this tatt myself. i knew where i wanted the design and since we are Irish and this is a Celtic design i wanted to include the love of my life's name, my son. regardless of what other people call it ('tramp stamp'??? never heard of it) i don't care. i wouldn't choose to sleep with someone who is so shallow and didn't know me well enough to either ask who Brendan is or who wouldn't already KNOW who he is anyway. i did this out of the purest love imaginable...the love of a mother for her child. don't try to make it dirty. you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel
