peace ya'll

I so agree with you on this Mach nod and sometimes I find myself limited by the language barrier to post something mad

Anyway if I do I always send an orgnote and try to tell that person what i feel or think, sometimes that works and that person and I stay in touch but othertimes it doesn't work and there's no contact after that orgnote wink

to make a long story short I'm an orgnote whore lol

eh, cliques are to be found everywhere. what can you do?
I certainly gravitate towards posting on threads of people I "know" or find amusing and shy away from replying to people I don't care for. But I check out threads of people I don't know too. And reply if I've got something to add. Kinda like how I relate to people in real life.
That said, if I have a clique around here, I'm not sure who's in it. shrug

I've been pretty oblivious to this fact until recently, but what thesexofit once said is very true--there are definately cliques in the org.

I frequent threads from people I know much more often than those that I don't. And I generally don't post in the ones that I don't.

However, I will beg to differ with some opinions that the cliques seperate people--I actually think they show that friendships are being made.

Agreed...to a point. (except the bold part)
Seems like a serious enough thread. So I'll respond with a semi-serious answer. I hardly go on rants (which this is not), so here's my chance! giggle (well there is that little one over in the music forum) innocent

Anyway!

I've seen people post a topic, and it gets completely ignored. Yet a more "popular" (lol..gotta love that lol ) orger post the same damn thing and everyone's on it. So yes that does separate people. Seen posts that were meaningful and heartfelt just fall into the past pages of 'orgdom'...yet 25 posts about pot-smoking-homo-pimps-who measure vaginas-while speeding in their cars dominate the forums. Or times when someone responds to someone's quote and then are completely ignored by the thread starter...but their "buddy" gives a similiar response and is acknowledged. I try to acknowlege every birthday thread I see. Even if I'm not familiar with the that particular orger. Who's to say who's more important. I will admit to ignoring those who ignore me or are just rude for no damn reason.
So there's good and bad when it comes to cliques. If it's a matter of just not interested in a thread..fine. But choosing only to acknowledge people you like and not getting to know someone new (being the fact that they ARE new lol ) ..well..it's your choice. No battle to be fought here. Just an observation.

Carry on. mr.green I'm sure this will be ignored as well. lol And here's a hug 2 anyone that needs it!

pray *Dear God...Please grant me a social life* Amen!

i have noticed cliques or close knit friendships...

i want to get to know a lot of people on here better, it is amazing how i can actually consider people i have never met face-to-face as friends.

i have never been snubbed by anyone i have attempted conversations with however i have not noticed many people 'approaching' me to initiate anything...i hope that changes.

ya'll are fantastic.

I agree and very well said, especially regarding the "state of threads/posts" lately (yikes!), which are examples of free speech confuse (What happened to civility, respect, and inclusion?) neutral
I love the org...but often feel as though I am on the outside for the very reasons you state...as I've said before it will not keep me away, but some days it sucks. I've learned to post if the topic interests me, no matter who posts...and yes, I have learned to avoid some so as not to cause myself anxiety and get into one of the pissing matches I see so often and or make myself a target eek ...which ain't pleasant for anyone!

I think cliques are bad...on the whole...how do you grow friendships if by nature cliques are inclusive and exclude others? Just another perspective.

The fish is leaving now...chew on that chum...falloff Oh I crack myself up!
