I was just wondering, what with all the songs that have been written about him, if the guy posts here and if he does, what does he think of the numerous musical tributes that have been paid to him?

I mean, there's the Nolan Sisters with 'I'm in the mood for Dan Singh', the clearly homo-erotic 'Dan Singh In The Moonlight' by Toploader, 'Dan Singh Machine' by The Jackson 5 and 'You Should Be Dan Singh' by the Bee Gees.

Mind you, I don't know what Prince was thinking about with 'When We're Dan Singh Close and Slow'.

Can anybody else think of any other musical tributes to this clearly great guy and can anybody shed any light on why he's become such a musical inspiration to so many?

I saw him, Dan Singh in the streets.

I hated that trio of Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Dan Singh when they remade that song Something in the Street...

Frank Zappa wrote a song about him titled 'Dan Singh Fool'. I don't think he liked him too much.
