I worked beside this woman for two years.
I gave her rides home at night
I taught her how to drive
She was working all she could while on assistance
She would tel me so often about how her son was everything in the world to her
she fought his biological father for child suport
once he came back from visitation with a bruise on him and she hit the roof, talked to a cop.

I havn't seen her in a year.
now she's a monster.
My head is spining

thats so sad. a mother's job is to always protect her kids. that man would have been dead if it happened to my kids.

the reality is in a year or two there will be a motion for reunification with her children, and most likely a judge will agree

I thought about getting in contact with her today
but I realized I didn't have anything to say


She was not without friends
Should I think of this as a version of spous abuse
and I don't mean that in a way so as to excuse her
I am just confused and sad

it is. sometimes the woman feels powerless and the same time as if they can't do any thing without the man because he makes her feel this way. something else may have been going on with her as far as low self esteem for her to just let it happen.
