JT Leroy Has anyone in here read any of JT's books? I just read "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" and it's an INCREDIBLE piece of writing. They just turned it into a movie too.

yeah, i read that collection of stories and i read "sarah". he's got all kinds of stuff in the new criterion collection DVD of "my own private idaho", too. and if you know index magazine, he writes a lot for that...or he used to, anyway. | |

MTF, from what I've heard.I've seen pics of him as a teen and he's still clearly a male. But he avoids gettings pics taken (his website has a photo of his body...but not his face). But according to several people who have attended readings, he dresses in drag quite a bit. Then again, there's a rumor that JT is really a woman dressing as a man. No matter the truth, JT is the modern pinnacle of genderfuck. | |
