Some people asked me to let them know how the British Isles-lesson went. Well, it was pretty good. The teacher told me it has been the most original and interactive lesson up till now, although my English is pretty crappy. But that's old news

I've used some of your comments of my threads, no one knew for example that Catherine Zeta-Jones is Welsh. Wales was in fact a place they knew very little about (me neither, I must confess )

I've showed them a fragment of Fawlty Towers, Waldorf Salad, the conflict between Basil and the rude American guy. Without subtitles, so one part of the class was rather clueless and the other part enjoyed it very much.

Tomorrow's lesson will probably be about gender differences, so I'll brb for a new org-investigation.
