Skin Care - What do you use?

I don't often post over here, but I wanted to find out what kind of moisturizer you use and why. I'm currently using a product called Pevonia. I absolutely love it, but the damn stuff costs an arm and a leg. The jar is quite small and it costs $90 canadian dollars ill It lasts me about 5 months.

I'd like to know what you all use and why and how much it costs. I'd like to continue using the Pevonia, but it's just too expensive for the amount you get.

Do any of you have a favourite moisturizer that you could recommend to me that's not so outrageously priced?? Thanks!

I use cheap stuff.

Cyclax Vitamin E cream for my face.

It's the one with a green lid.

Under my eyes and on my neck, I use Astral.

Only a smidge under my eyes as it is quite greasy.

Around my hairline and above my temples, I use Pond's Cold Cream.

It dries to a matte finish and stops head-shine. There's a tip for all the fellow slap-heads out there.

We've all used that shit at some point in our lives, but the truth is, it don't work. It just leaves your skin all dry and tight. Dry and tight isn't good wink Those of us in our 40's need good moisturizer.

You don't have to say anything, we know what you're thinking wink

I'm right though, aren't I. There's nothing good about being dry and tight.

Neutrogena - Original formula, Fragrance-free facial bar
Gillette Complete Skincare - Shave Multi Gel w/ Schick Quattro razors

Neosporin for the occasional pimple. Neosporin (for me) works faster than any benzoyl peroxide cream.

All kinds of Nivea-cremes. This is really something I will only spend money on when I'm older, richer, drier and wrinklier.

I use all Lancome skin care products. I think they're amazing.
I use their Gel Clarte cleanser:

Then I use their toner. It smells so good and has no alcohol. I put it on a cottonball after I wash my face and swipe it all over my face.

For my daytime moisturizer I use Aqua Fusion. It ahs a SPF too.

Fro my night moisturizer, I use Primordiale night cream. I can't get enough of it. It makes your skin so soft.

I think once you get past a certain age though some things don't work for you. Over time your body chemistry changes. I used to have the simplest skin regiment for YEARS, used basic stuff (Noxema, Neutrogena). But they stopped working for me for some reason. Gotta find something new, wouldn't be shocked if it's more expensive too sad
