Congrats I guess....16 is very young. Perhaps you should teach her a little bit about birth control if you're her legal guardian.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but she's still a kid. She should be enjoying her teenage years rather than being a mother. Just my opinion shrug
Wow you should teach that in schools ,how clever lol im sure after having her baby at 16 she knows about birth control now

stupid thing to say ,pointless thing to say

I was only supposed to be lurking but you made me mad!

Well you know boys never have anything to do with these situations. Only the girls need to be lectured rolleyes

I didn't say that. Boys have everything to do with it as well. But a lot of boys just want to get their dinky stinky and don't care about the consequences, especially at such a young age. I started having sex at a young age and I made damn sure that I was careful because I knew if anything were to happen it would be all on me. It's a shame that it's like that, but unfortunately it is in MOST situations.

You don't have to be sarcastic about this. There is nothing stupid or pointless about what I said, unless the pregnancy was planned and I doubt it was.

Sweetums, my comment wasn't directed at you. It was directed at the ridiculous "legs closed" comment. I wholeheartedly agree with you on the birth control tip. People need to face reality and prepare their children, at least talk about it. It's better to talk to your kids about birth control, when you know full well they are entering or in that age where they are discovering their bodies and their feelings and everything, everything is stunningly fresh/new/exciting/scary.....better to talk to them about birth control than unplanned unwanted pregnancies.

I know it wasn't directed toward me, but it made me think that I didn't address the boy side of this!!

I don't want to piss anyone off, especially KLHK, I'm not saying these things to hurt her. I know that if a 16 yr old has a baby they can still be very loving and still raise the child. I just think it takes away so much of their life and makes it a lot harder for them. I would want my 16 yr old daughter (if I ever had one!) to get much more out of life before she becomes a mother. There is so much time for that later on.

Oh..you want me to care
Wake up!

no not care

i don't think it is in your nature, but maybe just not judge as much

you say how negative gold is and how she should look at her life when in reality you are being worse than her. You judge people without having any idea of what bought them to the place they are at now.

we don't know the facts so spare the character assasinations
you are so self-ritious.

If you don't know the facts by now then something is amiss, she opened her legs a little too often and got pregnant, what more is there to it !!!
