What do you mean? I love them! whistling

That album was played 100x a day where I used to work. People were acting like they were the best thing since slice bread. I just thought it was boring. But I'll give it another listen just for you. kiss2

I know that feeling. Have that with Kruder & Dorfmeister....

But I am the only one playing Franz... no music at work....

And it helps if you really like more than just the album, but the b-sides too. There's lots. Quality stuff too. And live boots. Good stuff! And remixes, some okay.

I heart Franz Ferdinand.

are you talking about 'K & D Sessions'? It's a bible that's been around for a while now, and should be listened to every once in a while.....it stays great! Too bad they're lazy fucks, as in: they have never released own material (with exception of solo side-projects like Tosca and Peace Orchestra).

First impression of FF was: GREAT! Now, a year later, I am not so sure anymore....I hardly play their cd anymore.....guess you can say that hype can be killing!

Funny. I keep up with Franz. I never follow hype, btw. I just play what I like. Sometimes that coinsides with sumthing that is hyped.
I have a few live performances, on which they show steady progress towards getting better.
And the new songs are great too. So... maybe some people are just prone to hype?
And some people just have other taste. Nothing wrong with that.
