I'm plodding my way through Middlesex by Jefrrey Eugenides. I'm really wanting to devote more time to reading it as it's superb.

I just bought The Da Vinci Code, partially because of what Dex had said about it during chat one time, and also because we have a great deal of folks calling the church and asking about it.

I really didn't want to jump on the bandwagon, but alas, here I am with it.

I also am reading "Dogs Of Babel".

I have a pile of books to start...God's Politics by Jim Wallis is on the list too.

Good luck on your test ENDO!!!!

I'm reading FRANKENSTEIN by Dean Koontz. The female investigator in this book is the SHIZNIT!! I'm also still reading some book on Nietzsche and I'm still reading ANGELS AND DEVILS. The reason I haven't finished those books is because I was so wonderfully interrupted by 2 other books that dealt with coming out of child abuse. A Child Called It and Lost Boy. There's one more in the series but I haven't bought it yet.

So Angels and Demons is related to DaVinci Code then?

i've read a child called it and lost boy and found them deeply upsetting, someone told me recently that it has been raised that the facts in these "biography style" books is debateable but it was still traumatising to read.

I can't remember the name of the third book i dont think i read it all the way through.

I just finished reading Dean Koontz, Life expectancy

about to start Vernon god little, DBC Pierre

Oh my God, "A Child Called It" literally tore my heart out. I wished that the child's mother was still alive so that I could do everything she did to her son, to her. It was hard to read because of all of the descriptions of this boy's torture. It's not a fun read but it really opens ones eyes to things that may be happening under our very noses. The good thing is that the author came out of it and has lead a productive life, with a wife and child. If you read it be prepared to be exhausted.
