dont quite know who started this whole.. 'lowest club goes first' thing  i wasnt taught that way either  sometimes it messes up a good hand, or, if your lowest club is pretty high, you can usually get that book  i've learned to deal with it.
nill is some stupid thing my cousins started playing.... i dont use that here at my house, apparently, if you go 'nill' then you get 100 points if you take NO books.... meaning, your partner has to get at least 4 books (since thats the lowest a team can bid) .. if your partner gets the 4 (or whatever they bid) and you didnt get any, then you get 140 pts. however, if someone makes you take a book, which is always fun then you go -100.... your final score for that round would be -60 if your partner made the 4 books. i guess its just a way to make their sorry ass hands look like a winning opportunity 
anyway... we won 543 - 178 
great game, waaaaay to many margaritas
