Ok, I didn't watch the Oscars because it was on in the middle of the night here. And I only saw one of the movies that was up for anything. The only thing that really interests me though is what everyone was wearing. lol

So, what was up with all the pukey, bland dresses? ill I swear (I just checked out some online photo galleries of the Red Carpet) it seems all the women had on either white, boring black, dark blue, and oh da horror many diferent shades of TAUPE. barf What happened to color? I didn't really see anyone that stood out because they all just sort of blended in together.

Although Kirsten Dunst, though in black, looked very cool IMO. biggrin

whofarted All she needs is a swan wrapped around her mid-section.

Gwyneth Paltrow really has no sense of fashion. She always dresses in clothes that match her skin tone, and check the bottom of that dress. eek Having flashbacks to 1988 prom! shake

I can't even comment on this one. confused

sigh Oh Melanie. doh!

Yet another pukey color.

My eyes!!! boxed

Oh MELANIE!!!! omg

hmmm Now there's an interesting color. I haven't seen that one yet. rolleyes

Now here's some color, but doesn't it seems that Renee Zellweger wear the same dress every year, but just in a different color? hmmm

I saw Drew Barrymore, and I didn't even recognize her. She looks 20 years older than her actual age in this ensemble.

omfg No comment. zipped

sigh There's that color again. confused

Salma always looks great, but I'm just not digging this dress at ALL. hmm

That's it for now.

Of the pictures you listed, I like these three. Not super fond of Hilary Swank's dress, but it reminds me of old-fashion Hollywood glamor, so I like it. I actually really love Virginia Madsen's gown. But here's my favorite of the evening:

I think she always looks stunning, and she's a knockout here.

Eww, I disagree. disbelief (not about Scarlett) I guess I just don't like the color blue on many people.

Definitely. I normally think she's totally bland-looking, but the hair and the make-up were very happening.

Halle Berry looked smokin'. Natalie Portman - who's a babe - looked like hell. Rene Zelleweger - don't get her at all. She's all cheeks and two little slits for eyes.

Charlize needs eyebrows first of all. The coloring here is all off - the hair, the face, the dress - she looks like she got ready, fell in the ocean by mistake, jumped out & headed for the red carpet eek

Gwyneth Paltrow really has no sense of fashion. She always dresses in clothes that match her skin tone, and check the bottom of that dress. eek Having flashbacks to 1988 prom! shake

I'll fitting in the boob area, she needs to get that together. And the bottom is horrible!

I can't even comment on this one. confused

I LOVE this dress! thumbs up! The back is killer, her figure is killer in it. The front needs something to dress it up though - I'm not sure what, but with her hair pulled back like that she definitely needed bigger earrings. May some drop chandaliers, something. From the front it's kinda bland but the back is awesome...

sigh Oh Melanie. doh!

She's a mess, trying WAY too hard...

Yet another pukey color.

I like the color but she's washed out - too bland, even the smokey eye can't save her sad I like Laura Linney, great actress. She had a chance to infuse some color via her jewelery but they missed the boat on this one IMO...

My eyes!!! boxed

WTF?? eek

Oh MELANIE!!!! omg

disbelief

hmmm Now there's an interesting color. I haven't seen that one yet. rolleyes

Maggie looks great. I'm surprised @ how good she looks sometimes, she's not a pretty girl confuse

Now here's some color, but doesn't it seems that Renee Zellweger wear the same dress every year, but just in a different color? hmmm

Yea, this is her boring "I'm a red carpet princess!" routine neutral And I don't like the netting peeking out @ the neckline.

I saw Drew Barrymore, and I didn't even recognize her. She looks 20 years older than her actual age in this ensemble.

I thought Drew looked like shit. The dress is just blah, looks like something from the prom superstore. And the way she reads?? whofarted I still don't understand why this chick has a career confused

omfg No comment. zipped

I thought she looked great! Not CRAZY about the dress but it looks good on her, great color, great figure, great earrings thumbs up!

sigh There's that color again. confused

Now you know Halle is stunning here thumbs up!

Salma always looks great, but I'm just not digging this dress at ALL. hmm

Salma is annoyingly perfect mad Incredible figure, the dress looks so good w/ her jet black hair, the makeup is good, just the right amount of cleavage - she looks amazing IMO thumbs up!

No Natalie Portman? I thought she looked pretty nice.

Scarlett Johansen needed a hairsylist, that shit looked like a rats nest disbelief

Cate Blanchet was good... so was Kate Winslet... Oprah looked great!

What does that mean "like hell"? I thought she was sooooo cute!

Cate Blanchet was good... so was Kate Winslet... Oprah looked great!

I liked Kate Winslet's look. I always hate it though whenever there's a caption that goes with a pic of her, they always have to say something about her weight, or how she's "slimmed down" or some shit like that.

Natalie Portman looked pretty and I did like her dress. She just didn't have the cleavage to fill out the plunging neckline IMO.

Halle always looks good. I just always seem to see pics of her in really bland colors. shrug And of course Salma looks perfect, but I still really don't like that dress. disbelief Something about the color and the bows just is.... ill

I actually think Maggie Gyllenhall's (sp?) dress is one of my favorites that I've seen. nod It's just that everyone had that color on it seems.

And nope. Still don't like Hilary Swank's dress. It looks as if it's on backwards or something. whofarted

So yes, I am picky. lol

True, I fucking HATE that mad Seems like they've stopped doing it to be Beyonce, I wish they'd get off Kate. She always looks great. Why does everyone have to be rail thin?? ill

Natalie Portman looked pretty and I did like her dress. She just didn't have the cleavage to fill out the plunging neckline IMO.

Yea but I think it was fine - you always risk looking tacky w/ too much cleavage, so I'd rather her have none. We all know there's tits under there...

Halle always looks good. I just always seem to see pics of her in really bland colors. shrug And of course Salma looks perfect, but I still really don't like that dress. disbelief Something about the color and the bows just is.... ill

Halle switches it up & does color pretty frequently I think. I think both Selma & Halle could wear damn near anything w/ those figures... BITCHES lol

And nope. Still don't like Hilary Swank's dress. It looks as if it's on backwards or something. whofarted

So yes, I am picky. lol[/quote]

She just didn't adorn herself correctly IMO smile
