This is the "desert" we have in Manitoba...its near a town called Carberry
There is an intersection in Winnipeg called "Crazy Corner"...here is the road sign for it 
This is Osborne St where it meets Portage Ave...if you drive away from the point where the pic is taken there are alot of awesome cafes, shops and ethnic restraunts
