Okay, I d/led "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush, since several people have mentioned on this thread that it's a sad song. This song is definitely sad, not only the words, but the way that Kate Bush sings it with so much emotion in her voice.
This Woman's Work Lyrics by Kate Bush [ Download Kate Bush Ringtones ] [ Send to a friend ] Pray God you can cope. I stand outside this woman's work, This woman's world. Ooh, it's hard on the man, Now his part is over. Now starts the craft of the father. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I should be crying, but I just can't let it show. I should be hoping, but I can't stop thinking Of all the things I should've said, That I never said. All the things we should've done, That we never did. All the things I should've given, But I didn't. Oh, darling, make it go, Make it go away. Give me these moments back. Give them back to me. Give me that little kiss. Give me your hand. (I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left.) I should be crying, but I just can't let it show. I should be hoping, but I can't stop thinking Of all the things we should've said, That were never said. All the things we should've done, That we never did. All the things that you needed from me. All the things that you wanted for me. All the things that I should've given, But I didn't. Oh, darling, make it go away. Just make it go away now. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I remembered what my mum told me- he was at Peter Macullum Hospital- which is where all cancer patientz go in their final stagez- and my grandfather HATED da food therez. Anywayz, my grandma used to take him food he liked- and another old man who was next to him in his ward liked da smell of da food so my grandfather used 2 share it wif him. Apparently he said "Don't worry mate, when we're out of here we can eat all the curry and rice we like!!!" my poor dada So sorry to hear that your grandfather died of cancer, how awful! Be comforted in knowing that he is now in a better place and is no longer suffering. I know he is ...i saw him in a daydreamish dream when i was 15 (it was like i was awake but i was asleep...2 profound 2 explainz) and it'z cool!! (this may sound strange 2 some but it'z true!) "Ribbon in the Sky" by Stevie Wonder (that one seriously makes me choke up!).
For some reason, some of songs from Karmasutra get me emotional (don't ask me why, but they do). RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Goodbye My Friend Lyrics
Artist: Linda Ronstadt Album: Cry Like A Rainstorm, Howl Like The Wind Oh we never know where life will take us I know it's just a ride on the wheel. And we never know when death will shake us And we wonder how it will feel. So goodbye my friend I know I'll never see you again But the time together through all the years Will take away these tears It's OK now... Goodbye my friend I see a lot of things that make me crazy And I guess I held on to you I could of run away and left Well, maybe... But it wasn't time we both knew So goodbye my friend I know I'll never see you again But the love you gave me through all the years Will take away these tears It's now... Goodbye my friend Life's so fragile and love's so pure We can't hold on but we try We watch how quickly it disappears And we never know why But I'm OK now Goodbye my friend. I can go now Goodbye my friend. This song was released around the same time that my grandfather passed away. Every time I hear this song I think of him. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I told them not to sing it at my sister's funeral and they did anyway. I lost it and ran out of the church! I don't know why but when I hear non-singing folks do their rendition, it does not bother. It does not sound the same. Let a gospel singer belt it out and I am on the floor having an asthma attack. Weird.
i understand. at my grandfathers funeral this woman was singing, i don't remember what the gospel song was (i was so little then) but when she sang, it just filled the church and i just felt it all over. and then it just made me cry. not the bawling kind of cry but a quiet one. it was very powerful. now both of y'all got me cryin' But yeah....I can't really deal with funerals either....I just can't. I hate showing my emotions to a lot of people even if they are family. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
