Local radio adverts for carpets, car dealers etc are a bit annoying aren't they? Especially when you have to listen to them all day. I don't really pay attention to what they are trying to advertise but here's a few examples from Real Radio based in the South Yorkshire area here in the UK. See if you recognise any....

'Make your home a better home'-A woman who tries to come across all soulful sings on this one. There is great emphasis on the last two words. The sylaballs in 'better' are really emphasised and the 'home' is really long and drawn out-as if it should be spelt.....hooooome.

'Nice and easy does it....everytime This jingle is by a bloke coming across all sickly, crooner like. Very much somewhat Harry Connick Jr-esque.

Call Coldseal Windows...11-22-55 Sung by a Norfolk, farmer type to the tune of 'Old MacDonald had a Farm...'

All extremely catchy but equally as annoying. Who on earth would do such a thing for a living?...

Person A: 'What do you do for a living?

Person B: 'Oh I sing the jinglers for local radio ads.'

You'd look a but of a 'top hat' wouldn't you?! Do you know anyone who sings the jingles on radio ads!? In fact, have you ever done or do it yourself?! Any more examples of ads?

Sorry sweetie. The only radio I listen to doesn't air commercials.
