Right now, I'm reading Gone With the Wind for the very first time, and I can't get enough of it. I recommend it. I'm going to see if I can finish it today! You won't finish it today because at 18:00 you're gonna get your head kicked in by a rabid ninja. I've got the camera ready.

finished the first of the three books of "the last herald-mage" trilogy by mercedes lackey last night, and was all misty eyed. normally i can't stand fantasy books, but this is my third time reading thise series, and i haveto say it is by far the most beautiful book about a gay man i have ever read, and written by a str8 woman, no less Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

Bobby Jo now must find a way to get to so and so before the lurking powers take over (name the city or person) and eventually the world. Secrets are discovered, but will their discovery destroy Bobby Jo (or other name, or a dog's name) in the midst of the struggle? I know what you mean. I was a big John Saul fan back in my day. In his stories the children were the evil ones....IN EVERY BOOK. I was never a fan of Koontz but I'm digging FRANKENSTEIN. It's the first book in a trilogy. I was also a huge Stephen King fan. I've reading everything until he started getting kind of "fantasy". I love his humor. My favorite Stephen King has to be SALEM'S LOT. As lame as it may sound I even liked the original made for TV mini-series. It scared the hell out of me. They have a new version out with, god help me, Rob Lowe. I'm tempted but I don't know. I loved John Saul too! and yeah, it was another of those "something is happening to all the children in City Hanging on a Cliff, Connecticut. blah blah blah Will they be able to save their child, before it is too late?" although I did like Comes The Blind Fury. The cover of that book scared the crap outta me My favorite King book is The Stand. Salem's Lot scared me the most, though.
