The most horrible thing just happened to me... I thought I was 20 grand richer for about 20 minutes. Yep, I called a handful of friends and my mind was half way to Hawaii...then I read those god awful words that were only partially scratched...

The lottery here in Thailand is very popular. The jackpot is 6 million baht, although that's only around $150,000. I say 'only', but of course that's not bad!
Anyways, since I've been with my wife I think we've only played about 5 or 6 times, yet we've won 3 times. My wife dreams of numbers, but for some reason we never seem to play. I think it's because I don't like gambling. She's given numbers to other people before. Don't know if they've won or not. She's also claimed after the event to have thought of the winning numbers but not played, but lots of people say that so who knows? Each time we've won we've only made about $50, but that can buy u quite a bit here. | |

Once I thought I'd won $3,000 on a lottery ticket and then when I scratched on it some more it said that I'd won $3. Man, I thought I had my school books paid !!! [Edited 2/27/05 14:02pm] I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.
