I actually watched the whole show for once, I thought it wasn't bad at all. Chris Rock did a fine job as host, he didn't overdo his act or become annoying. Even if she's not a Knockout beauty, Hilary Swank was absolutly gorgeous in all her glory. The show moved faster that past shows, and the stage sets were great, especially the camera shot from above where the categories were shown on the floor, what a nice effect.

Boring and predictable. Beyone really had to sing most of the nominees songs. I mean, aren't we done forcing her down America's thoart? She's America's princess...we know, we know.... Chris Rock had his hands tied but going to the Magic Johnson theatre was pretty funny. He killed at the VMAs...making fun of people that were there! Everything was very scripted where he usually seems to be more free on stage but he didn't suck by any means. I was just expecting him to kill! The awards went to everyone that they were prectied to go to. Good for Jamie Foxx but Thank God we don't have to hear him pretending to be Ray Charles anymore and doing the same old acceptance speech everywhere and having everyone love him and kiss his ass...He was Ray Charles in a movie...he didn't turn water into wine! I'm really disapointed overall...I was expecting some suprises and hoping to hell that Anette Bening would get her due.
