well wherever we go it needs to be reasonably quiet so we can chat and hear each other as Red said...it needs to be central and easy to get to by public transport and hopefully as inexpensive as we can too but not dark and dodgy lol

All I know is that I'm pissed that when I started the EXACT SAME THREAD about London, and how I was going there, it got immediately moved to the Fan Gathering forum (I didn't even know there was such a thing) and like TWO people saw it.

Nothing against the people who post here daily (I used to be one of them, and have just been in the music forum daily instead now) but if you're not one of the "popular" GD posters, then I guess it won't be treated as very important.  And I rarely post in GD anymore, so I guess my thread was moved because the mods thought no one would really care.
