I used to watch that show back in the day but I just don't have a fondness for it anymore 227, Family Matters & The Jeffersons... Loved them then, but I just can't fuck w/ them anymore | |

Was it too much "innocence",,,perhaps? As opposed to the "ghetto" sitcoms we have nowadays, these ol' ones were WITTY as they get, maybe thats why I'm very much attached to 'em [Edited 2/27/05 9:12am] | |

Was it too much "innocence",,,perhaps? As opposed to the "ghetto" sitcoms we have nowadays, these ol' ones were WITTY as they get, maybe thats why I'm very much attached to 'em [Edited 2/27/05 9:12am] Nah, not the innocence - I could sit through a Cosby rerun w/o vomiting & as far as the ghetto sitcoms of today, I don't participate. But I hear you on the nostalgia factor of the old ones. I'd love to see the short lived "Baby, I'm Back" or "That's My Momma" somewhere (from what I can remember, I liked those), or reruns of "A Different World". I still catch Living Single when I can. I'm picky, as funny as Sanford & Son was I probably couldn't make it through an episode | |
