the easiest way is to probably just find them on a filesharing site

I use Iomega hotburn pro (came free with my writer) and it allows you to add 'track' marks to files that you are burning to a CD. It means that you have to decide when to cut from one track to the next but once you've added the marks it will burn it to the CD as 11 (?) separate tracks. then just rip it back to your PC and away you go!

having said that, i'm not sure if you can get a free version of the software...

You would need some kind of audio-editing program to seperate it into tracks. You would copy the whole CD to your hard drive as a WAV, open it in the application, and slice it into smaller parts, then export each part as a seperate track. Then burn all the tracks onto another CD.

A common program used for such editing would be CoolEdit, which is now known as Adobe Audition (they bought the program from the original developer).

Or you can probabbly find a freeware app as well, on sites like SnapFiles.com

I have found Gold Wave very helpful editing my Prince catalogue. It is a hard application to navigate, but worth it.

You can find it on www.download.com
