Dating co-workers should be near the top of "Dating No-No's"...lol...It's never a good idea. I had the chance to go out with a co-worker a little over a year ago...very sweet, beautiful beyond belief...Sweeny kept trying to get me to ask her out... ...but besides the fact that there wasn't any real connection, the fact that she was a co-worker completely put it in the "No" column, didn't matter how attractive she was...

Just to play devil's advocate here...

I've dated a co-worker before and it was really no big deal at work. However, it's someone who I didn't work closely with, only crossed paths on occasion and we kept it very low profile while actually at work. Were it someone I had to work with on a daily basis, I don't think I'd have done it. Sure, when it was over there were a few awkward "hey"s in the hallway and whatnot but it really wasn't that bad. So it can be done, it's just all in how you approach it and if you think it's worth it.
