In a time of my life... I had to do just that, difficult... yes and it brought a huge sense of guilt... for many, many years.

Now... well, I still live the same way (seperated from much of my family)... although I have peace among all, they live their life the same and I live mine in all ways they are not.

Sometimes you can reunite... and other times you find closure in the ways you see fit... and continue down the very path you are on. We are in control of our own journey... and others, well... it's the journey they have chosen, most importantly... don't let them take you on their ride. Pure awareness is the most difficult part of life.

be careful not to burn too many bridges. i've found it's often the case that you shouldn't take it personally if people don't always contact you....people just get busy - it doesn't always mean they don't care.
