NIce depth of field Byron. But I am suprised you don't have Macro capabilities on your camera (it is a swanky one as i recall!). If not, go get yourself a new macro lens.

I love photos like these, my albums are full of them - mostly awfull!

Never mess with another mans art (I know) but I would have taken your mountain shot like this.

Although as discussed the road does evoke a certain "story" in your picture.

All good stuff, thanks for sharing thumbs up!

I almost took a photo of a bee yesterday...or at least I tried..lol...It landed on the handle of a shopping cart nearby, and I froze to not scare it off...then raised my camera slowly and turned it on...went to zoom in on it...and it flew away.. neutral ..No way it would have turned out nearly as good as yours, tho... nod MG, I want a macro lens now.. bawl

Just one more to convince you to get a macro.... wink
Oh and a tip: this works best with bumble bees. They are quite relaxed and sit still even if you're almost touching them with the lens!

Or maybe it's cuz my camera doesn't take interchangeable lenses, so I'd have to go out and buy a whole new camera in order to use a macro lens...lol...
