I can't believe there are such babysitters There's a huge story in Israel now, about parents who noticed some change in their twins' behavior, and decided to put a video cam to record their babysitter while they're at work, to try and see if something was wrong.

it's crazy.
When the police took her in, she denied it all, not knowing there's a tape. Then she started breaking down, saying that maybe she wasn't all that good. Only after she saw the tape she admitted it and said she had a rage attack and couldn't control herself. | |

It happens all the time. That's why you have to check out their references and put them through a police check, child welfare check. If the kids are scared of this person then there is something wrong. Always listen to the child.

I can't watch it, but I've seen plenty of tapes just like it. I can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt a child

I can't even begin to understand why someone would do something like that. I work as a paralegal and once in a while I get a case where I have to interview someone regarding child abuse. It really is crazy!!!!
I just finished reading A BOY CALLED IT and the follow up. This was a boy that was abused by his alcoholic mother throughout the 70's in the San Francisco Bay Area, real close to home. This book tore me to shreds. The good thing is that received the proper help and now he is a motivational speaker. His name is David Pelzer.
