Remote Controlled Airplanes... So they were flying one in a movie I saw tonight and I realized that I've always wanted one. Does anyone have one, know of any cool sites, etc? Answer me!

I've never made one myself, but much like yourself I've always wanted to. As luck would have it, I started my search the other day and found this site which has quite a few - just click on the R/C Airplanes tab on the left and you'll see a list of stores all of which have a good range of r/c model aircraft.

Great idea. I'd also like to get a little camera for my cat (a cat-cam). I'd love to know what he gets up to when he's out. Does he actually roll around in mud and collect slugs just to annoy me?, does he go off on little 'adventures'?, is he tough or a wuss - does he win any of the fights he gets involved in?, is he capable of catching anything bigger than a spider?, whose garden does he shit in? These (and many more) questions I'd love to know the answers to. Any idea where I can source small cameras ? Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

I used to have a remote controlled glider, it was a kit that I had to put together myself. I always flew it in the summertime in Austria, great fun, it had a wingspan of almost 4 metres.....I crashed it against a mountain-rock....

I had one of those when I was growing up....was yours made out of balsa-wood and covered with a thin plastic? Mine was. We used this gigantic rubber band to launch it.

you mean the wings? The body was plastic! We either used the rubber-band or threw the plane off a cliff!
