Picking Your Nose in Public...it's just WRONG! I'm on the subway this morning heading back to work and I'm reading the paper and I while I'm turning the pages I focus my attention on this guy next to me (late 40s?) and he's got his finger jammed up his nose. I'm looking at him in disgust while he inspects his finger and then goes into the other nostril. I don't think he found the pot of gold he was looking for but that's just wrong to do in public! Carry tissues with you!
And people wonder why I've developed a habit of washing my hands a zillion times a day... Let the rain come down...17 days.... | |

And people wonder why I've developed a habit of washing my hands a zillion times a day... While we don't ride the same train anymore... (I dont miss the 6 at all!!!) I was on the train today too, and this older man (mid 50's) was reading his paper and decided to put it against his face (but unfortunately) not fully cover his face when he decided to jam his finger up there too.... I saw him and turned away, because i couldnt' watch that early in the AM.. My belly was queasy enough without watching him enjoy his morning pick! LOL- NO i take the E train in a few stops.. I am in Forest Hills.. It actually takes me less time getting in work than it did living uptown in the city.. That 6 train sucks! You know, keeping your hands insanely clean will break down the natural antibodies of your immune system. In other words; keeping insanely clean will make you prone to infections. Serious. I am not saying you shouldn't wash your hands before lunch. Please do. |
