I had a huge crush on her (Christina Applegate) when I first saw this movie many years ago. Iam 19 now and I admit to still quite liking her Am I bad.....infact she carries the movie pretty well. Rather see her then say gwyneth paltrow


Anyway it's a great throwaway movie which actually starts off quite dark but the babysitter dies near the beginning of the movie unfortunately and I would of loved seeing more scenes with the babysitter in! She was funny.

The dope smoking heavy metal older brother is good too.....

Plus the little sister of the family is in "the last boy scout" with Bruce Willis right? (I just watched that last week)

Infact the older brother was also in "adventues of babysitting"? Man I sure know my late 80's-early 90's movies huh?

Anyway good movie. I imagine critics hated it then and do so even more now. It had alot more potential though.....

Christina's come a long way. I love her....and I love the movie she did with Cameron Diaz, "The Sweetest Thing" it's so funny!

lol...this was just on cable last week.its a fine,fine film. now on DVD.

I used to love this movie! This and "Better Off Dead" were two of my favourites.
