Olympics 2012? Does London have it yet?

Anyone know?

It would be so cool if we did get it! We lost the world cup out to Germany (I think it was for 2010?) so we DESERVE this. despite our londons crappy transport.

Mind u anyone want a tax increase?

Cannot wait. Euro last year was pretty dissapointing. Too many "lets play for a 0-0" type shit which of course makes for a dull game.

England play a dull game of football mind u, as do most of europe on the whole. (not "spain" "france" "holland" "italy")..world cup is always a HUGE EVENT EVERYWHERE but north america.

I love the olympics too. Hey Great britains mens 100 team got gold. That was unbelievable.

Should be good in "germany" though. Good fair weather climate and no odd times for the matches themselves. Korea was a nightmare sometimes.....

do you really think london could cope with this??

i know its 7 years away...but i can't see of this happening. look at the dome fiasco.....why isn't that building part of the olympic idea. east london???
the tubes are fuxed, cost a fortune and the weather is shite.

not that i'm a big fan of spain.....wink ..but i want madrid to get it.

Yeah I know. it ain't the best place, but i wanna see the olympics. Thats it really.....Weather is good in summer, transport will be a problem to say the least.....

hon madrid and paris are so close..so its easy to see the olympics.
and its so warm in spain.
i think its would be really embarrasing in london.
we really couldn't cope.
we know it.
