What movies are you looking forward to in 2005?

We know that we're in the middle of the worst season for movies. But in just a couple of months, we'll get a string of blockbusters and Oscar contenders over the course of the rest of the year.

What r u looking 4ward 2? Here's my short list:

1. Star Wars Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith: I just have to see Lucas' vision for the final, perhaps most critical, episode of the series. I was let down by both Eps I and II, but I am hoping this one finishes well.

2. Sin City

3. Bstman Returns

What about y'all?

Me too kinda. The problem is that many of the better movies don't get pub around this time of year b/c they're just getting shown at the major festivals and many haven't been picked up for distribution yet. I didn't hear about Sideways or Life Aquatic (2 of my '04 faves) until the summer.

I'm sure in our circles it's called BAREBACK MOUNTAIN. They at least better show them kissing passionately. That's all I ask. The book is really really hot though. Ooooh.

I gotta calm down....

I've been good. A bit busy with college, so I haven't been on the Org as often as I used to be. Also, since I've had to inhale nail polish chemicals all day now, I've been a little loopy coming home. It's like speed or something, I swear. smile

My dream has come true! At least it will come true on celluloid. THE ROCK, yes, THE ROCK, will play a gay man in the movie BE COOL. Yes!!!!! Now, I don't have anything against feminine men but I hope he plays it butch. And I hope he kisses a guy. That's all I ask. Either way the whole movie looks like it's going to be hilarious. I hope I'm not dissapointed.

The Jacket

Sin City
(I SO can't wait to see this!)

Batman Begins
(Finally... not only do I get to die a happy poof by seeing Christian Bale clad head-2-toe in rubber, but this WILL be the best Batman film yet)

MirrorMask
(This looks uniquely brilliant, check it out!)

Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
(It WILL rock!)

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory
(How could u possibly resist?)

The Machinist
(Sorry, I'm a sucker for anything Christian Bale - long time fan)

The Cave
(Good pop-corn munching movie - gotta have at least one no-brainer)
