Anyone here watch this show and like it? It's one fo my new shows I watch...but besides my friend who I watch it with...I don't know of anyone else.

To those that do...what do you think of the characters...plot... What the island really is???

Oh and lets try to keep in mind that our friends overseas haven't seen this...so TRY to keep the secrets to a minimum.

And to our friends overseas...if you think too much is being said, you may want to leave this thread alone.

We just had it started here in Australia. I think we're up to the 3rd episode now.....I'M ADDICTED!!!!!
I have no idea what, who and where they are.

I really like it but last weeks promos really mislead as to what yesterdays episdoe was about.

It's great tv. I've been disappointed with a few episodes, but all in all I enjoy it.

I'm way in the middle of it and we still don't know where they are. You do however find out about the 16 main characters in each episode.

My favorites...Locke (strange bald guy), Jin (asian woman), Hurley (the big guy), and Syied. This island is really messed up and strange things with Walt the boy.

i liked it at first..but the premise has already grown tired with me and i no longer stay tuned....

BTW it's a TV show on ABC in the US. ANd the premis is a plane crashes on an unknown island and strands all of the survivors.

Damn, i forgot to check this show out!!! THey had this MASSIVE advertisement for it aired in cinema hallz- our tv station Channel 7 mustta paid a crap load to do that- it was a really dramatic advertisement

It's not my favorite show...as it's a bit too family oriented for me. But there are enough characters and an interesting plot that can really go anywhere. For mainsteam tv...there have been very few eyerolling moments. And so far no "where's my bucket" moments.

I wanna see more carnage and death...that's where I think it doesn't live up to my standards. I do suspend belief. But I have a hard time believing that 50 or so survived and no one has hardly died...and for the most part looks pretty.

For me the plots of Walt, Jin and the island in general keep me watching.

Oh...and I have a very fondness for Rose, the older Black lady who lost her husband. SHe's only been in 3 episodes so far. I would really like to see her more. I thought she died or something as she wasn't on for quite a few episodes...but she is still there. I think they can make her into a mother figure. She has this wiseness about her. SHe also knows her husband is alive somewhere on the island...and where is the back of the plane????

He's basically the neutral character. I don't trust him either. He cares for the people and will help. But he helps himself first and will chose what is the practical thing to do over saving a life.

I also think he will do ANYTHING to stay on the island. I don't think he wants to be rescued...but also has a desire to figure out what is going on and will employ people to help him for HIS purpose....i.e Boone.

My FAVORITE thing about 24...is the Due to the graphic nature of this program...I LOVE THAT...I'm like BRING IT ON MF's!
