Our Catholic church does this, and I'm not sure if it's a widespread practice, but they have everyone holding hands during the "Our Father" prayer. If your church does this, make sure you sit next to him and then you can hold his hand...at least through on prayer.  | |

well, actually, if hes on this season's show... hes at home during a 3 week leave while the judges are making final decisions... live tapes of the show dont start till next week i believe....
for sure hes pumped about this opportunity in his life... talk to him about it it doesnt make you look silly, it means you are paying attention to him, and what man doesnt like that ?? 
oh, and i agree with stax (mostly because he rocks ) print this out, and if things are going well over coffee (or whatever you choose to do together) tell him you talked to a few friends about whether you should ask him out or not... when he asks what they said.... show him that paper
