Ok so I go to church almost every Sunday and the cantor in my church, (for you non Catholics, that's the person who sings the hymns and whatever) is a contestant on American Idol. If you watched it tonight he was the dark haired guy in room 3 with the black shirt with white lines on it who cried like a bitch when he got pushed to the next round.

I've had a crush on this guy for almost a year ( talk about tall dark and handsome ) and we kinda flirt during mass he started making eyes at me one day so I did it back and now it happens just about every week. BUT He's so nice looking and being in mass and all I never had the guts to just to up him and say hi. In fact I didn't even know his name until they said it on TV.


Well, I'm assuming this will be the last round for him because about 2 weeks ago he came back to church and is doing his old job. So now I'm even MORE scared to go say hi to him cuz now I look like an American Idol Groupie.

Pick a good time to go up to him - like maybe after Mass or something when most people have left and there's not so much going on - and say you just wanted to let him know you thought he did a good job on AI and that you're very impressed with his singing talent. People always appreciate a sincere compliment and, considering he's obviously already aware of you and has been flirting with you, he'd probably be very thrilled for a chance to actually speak with you. Who knows where things might go from there?

I know all this is easy for me to say since I'm not having to do it myself, but I think you should take a chance. Don't let chances pass you by...regret sucks.
