Fashionable? I recently went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see an exhibition of "Wild Fashions". They displayed designer outfits using animal prints, feathers, leather, etc. Ever since the trip, I'm noticing more and more how animal designs have become popular in society. Yesterday, for instance, I saw a girl with a bag with giraffe designs, and today I saw a girl wearing shoes and gloves with girafee prints. For those who understand why or to those who do wear such fashion, what do you see in it? Why do you like it?
Is an example of a coat. [Edited 2/15/05 9:19am]

Those are actually nice. I don't think it's something anyone would wear, but they are lovely.

Heavenly said: Those are actually nice. I don't think it's something anyone would wear, but they are lovely.
Stage performers and celebrity will wear them. I believe the white dress was inspired by the dress Bob Mackie made for Cher ( for Time Magaizne). Think of Cher's costumes. I guess I'm trying to put myself in their shoes. If I were to be on stage, why would I wear some of these odd dresses? and be bold enough to wear them :/ Where is the attraction. What's the mentality to be able to do that. I see a lot of women( even those who go to college) arriving in fur coats, wearing animal print gloves. > http://www.horsetackco.co...gloves.gif

It's just something from nature. And nature is beautiful.
I'm not sure if it's the animal characteristics that makes the dress beautiful, or it's just the design itself, which happens to include animal characteristics.
