Gangs where u stay! Coming from poor sheltered Britain we dont really have a gang problem,
but i was just wondering if it really is as bad in the states with gangs as what we hear. Do u have a local gang where u stay?Have they ever caused personal problems with you? Tell us europeans about it please. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Tell us europeans about it please. Well, I live in the I.E. in California. Next to where I live, we have a couple of gangs that I know of, but I'm not into that whole kinda thing. Anyways, there's this white-supremecist gang called Mad Scene that just go around fucking with everybody's property and tag everything in their area, and this other one that I know of called Bergamont Bloods, which I'm sure you know is like the Bloods in L.A. that you probably know of. They haven't done any personal harm to me or anybody I know, because they're probably some little wannabe shits who think they're all bad, but policemen do patrol around sometimes. But again, I don't know of any killings; these "gangs" probably just like to cause mischief and tag stuff. [Edited 2/12/05 15:07pm]

There aren't any in the neighborhood I live in now (in Minneapolis), but the neighborhood I lived in on the West side of Saint Paul had problems with the Disciples. The summer before my freshman year in college, I worked in a convenience store, and they used to come in all the time and cause trouble. Then, one day, we called the cops on 'em and the leader - Star Wars was the name he went by - cried his eyes out when the cops came to get him.

I live on an estate block in the uk and gangs ARE a problem. Estates are sometimes very scary ansd shitty. Maybe not quite as bad as "hoods" in the USA. I have lived in the USA and where I use to live in UK (Norwich Larkman) it was bad.

"Donne 'ou forget Edinburgh wee man!" Speaking of gangs, Bobby Carlyle is all set to play Paul Ferris in a film about his life. Paul Ferris is Glasgows most notorious gangster of today “If I can shoot rabbits/then I can shoot fascists”

A year or two ago, I read from a couple of sources that Manchster is estimated to have more illegal guns on the street than London village! Preston was a top three location in the country for drugs and Fraud!!! (not surprising to know when you live there All that's just the tip of the icebrg too Crazy shit for lil ol' U.K. "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

The town I just moved to has one policeman for every four residents so no we don't have any serious gangs, just crazy teenagers doing crazy things.
However I live near Buffalo and Niagara Falls and there is gang activity there,A good friend of mine who lives in Buffalo has lost loved ones in drive by shootings and gang violence. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

Yeah,it seems to be everywhere in the city, I love Buffalo, they have great museums, art galleries, theaters, parks and architecture but there isn't a lot there for the young people who are economically disadvantaged. The poverty can be overwhelming, I can see how the closeness and sense of power that being in a gang offers can be appealing to these kids. The politicians aren't helping anyone give them any alternatives. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss
