I haven't done mine yet because I'm still waiting for a form from the government that I was supposed to receive by the 10th of this month (but never got!). Stupid post office, don't know what they did with it, they must have gotten hungry and ate it for lunch or something. So I called the government office and told them that I never received the form that I was supposed to get, and told them that I needed another one. I asked them how long it would take before I would receive it. Of course, the person I spoke to could not give me a direct answer; he told me to call the post office. I hope I get this form soon, since I would like to get my taxes done so I can get it out of the way.

That's what I feel like doing to the government office.

I hope you get your refunds fast! I've never had to rely on an accountant to do mine, since my taxes are very easy, and I don't have any credits to claim or anything like that. In fact, I file my taxes by telephone, which only takes about 20 minutes to do for both state and federal. It is very easy to do, and it walks you right thru, even asks you to confirm your answer before moving on. Also you find out right away if you owe money or if you get a refund. I love filing my taxes this way, it is sooo easy, and I get the money within 10-14 days!
