But ...
We were only allowed one thread to discuss the Tsunami but have 1 sticky plus 33 threads and counting for Valentines Day (and that's only pages 1-3 ... there are more!)

It just spoils my enjoyment because there are some people creating quite good threads and if I could be bothered I would have to scroll down past all these Valentines threads to find them. I'm lazy and can't be bothered, so good threads are getting buried. That's my gripe.

I'm no killjoy though ... and I think it's great that people are having fun ... but I think it's overkill. And I do agree with abierman on the playground thing.
