As I sat here, trying to figure out how to give something thoughtful (I mean, this is just a website after all, so it was hard for me!).....I said let me send some florida sunshine to you since you're in the cold.....

Sooooo, to prove I have some photographic talent other than snapshots of me giving the finger, I decided to go out and photograph something beautiful....

now the technical details, the picture follows an overated rule of photography, to cut your photo into thirds and place your subject in one of those horizontal or vertical lines.....see where the horizon line is? Also, the palms take care of two things.....1- they act as a natural frame for the subject (the sun)and 2- their natural lines direct the eye to the subject (again, the sun)
I think I left too much foreground in the shot, but it's not too bad. No one believes me that I'm self taught.....
It was the best I could do with my little point and shoot camera, since I sold all my pro equipment to pay for my divorce.

But anyway, I'm getting off the subject. I hope you like it, Happy Valentines Day to a kind, friendly and warm person!!
