do tell......... This thread is for anyone that has had an eventful day, good or bad 
Please tell your story..... Ok, ill go first.... I was going 63 in a "safe 42 MPH" zone.....Motorcycle cop pulled over and was given a VERY EXPENSIVE ticket.....30 for every mile over the speed limit.....DAMN!!! Say it's just a dream...

Then again, going 21 miles an hour over a 42 mile an hour speed limit is a bit much...  | |

today up until recently I thought the rules for the UK working holiday visa had changed and that I'd only be able to work for up to half the time I spend there...about half an hour ago now I found out that that new rule won't apply to me
 
that's been the highlight of my day so far...tonight I see my sis Harriet (one of my closest friends) and her family as they're in transit on the way home from being in Cairns, Far North Queensland | |

Today, I woke up and ran about 3 miles in our mild weather (35 degrees). Then I came home and posted today's Black History Month Person of the Day thread. I went to work. I had 5 clients. I studied a bit during a lunch break. At 7, I attended the state of the city address in Dearborn (shout out to Mayor Guido). Afterwards, I made a smoothie at home and here I am now talking to u guys. | |

Once again I made it through another day of "stress" at work. Dont get me wrong, im blessed to have a good job, but i really need a vacation . Now, im making 32 cupcakes for my son's class to clebrate his 12th b-day tomorrow.....I cant wait till im finished so i can sit on my big butt and do NOTHING | |

Funny you should ask...was at a meeting today and after years of what I perceive to be BS in the approach to social justice work, not the content, I finally lost it (tears, incoherent speech, etc.). In front of 40 meeting participants, all women that I respect but get extrememly frustrated  with I became a babbling idiot. It was pretty awful..and in fact I am still pretty upset and feel very .

so far so good. woke up at 4:45am, managed to steal another hour or so before getting up at 8am. finally got dressed at 11am. took the kids to see the nurse, came home, did some colouring in and played chasey. now we're watching "chalkzone" and eating sultanas. | |
