COMPUTER HELP PLEASE!! Last week a freind of mine in Malaysia suggested I installed Skype Internet Phone, so that him and I could talk for free over the online phone!! Well, anyway, I could hear people on the other end of the line, but they couldnt hear me for some reason,it just didnt work my end, so I ended up uninstalling the program, cos in my opinion it was totally useless!! The thing is now, everytime I log on, I get a form that automatically comes up that I have 2 fill in as a new customer or an existing customer(its just a ploy 2 get u back 2 using it again). What I want help in is how can I get rid of this?? I installed Spy Doctor the spy and ad ware detecting and removing programme in order 2 combat the other problem I had and that works very successfully, but it just wont get rid of this form that keeps coming up!!

Can someone help me??? Try going into System controls...there should be an add/remove hardware/software. Try removing any cookies connected to their site. And you should open up your start items and remove it there. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

Can someone help me??? [Edited 2/10/05 11:01am] From the Start Menu choose Run Then type "msconfig" and hit Enter It will bring up the System Configuration Utility. From the General tab, choose Selective Startup Then Click the Startup tab. This will bring up a list of all the programs that load up every time you reboot your computer. Remove the check marks from the ones you don't need. If you are uncertain which one is the program you are trying to stop, take a look at the file path (listed to the right of it) and see where it leads, that may give you a clue. Or, look up the file name on Google to see what it belongs to. | |
