Out with the Old??? How many of you still keep in touch with your "ex's"? Do you think it is wise to allow that old energy into your world or future, even if you both have moved on amicably?
I feel it is a maturity and integrity level ones self must possess in order to sustain such a relationship with someone of significance from the past. The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

I never kept in touch with my ex's. My husband has never met one of my former boyfriends and probably never will because I couldn't tell you where they were if their houses were on fire.
I think part of it was that I was never in a SERIOUS relationship before my hubby. I did some exclusive dating etc, but for me, once it was over it was over and I had no interest in keeping in touch. Don't get me wrong, it's not like any of them were beating down my door trying to stay in touch with me I think it was a mutal thing that it was over and so be it. I'm firmly planted in denial

I don't have contact with most of my exes. Mainly because they hurt me and I need to move on. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Some I do.....some I don't. I found it better to just have a clean break from them.

I find that keeping a close friendship with an ex lover can work but not in all cases. Sometimes there are too many passionate feelings left over after a breakup to sustain any type of civil friendship. It depends.
