Don: Hey, Napoleon. What did you do last summer again?
Napoleon Dynamite: I told you! I spent it with my uncle in Alaska hunting wolverines! Don: Did you shoot any? Napoleon Dynamite: Yes, like 50 of 'em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that? Don: What kind of gun did you use? Napoleon Dynamite: A freakin' 12-gauge, what do you think? I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

This is definitely a cool ass movie. My favorite part was when Napoleon was getting down with Jamaroqoui Canned Heat.

This movie is truly an original...which is something that is VERY hard to create nowadays. But it's becoming one of those movies that is taking on an "art fag" quality--people will namedrop it and chat it up because it raises their hipness quotient. Still, "Napoleon" is the "Clerks" of the 2000s--an indie comedy that reminds you that low budgets and inexperienced actors can still pull off a miracle.

I can sooooo hear his voice reading this! I only saw half of it...my boy's mom was watching it with us and she said it wasn't funny to her at all. She's an art teacher so she said she sees this stuff all day long. I loved what I saw of it though!

I thought it was hilarious... different and funny but I can see how its not for everyone I loved it! Quirky, Goofy, and Hilarious! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

Hated it. One of the worst movies I've seen lately. Along with Dodgeball, Anchorman, and Princess Diaries II (got it for my 8-year old daughter).
I did really like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hero and I, Robot. I just joined Blockbuster's online rental club, so I see DVDs like every other day now.

Kip and LaFawndah
Cagefighting Pedro's cousins with the sweet hookups The Summer pinata The timemachine The only thing I hated--that Tina didn't get more screentime.

i should have went cos it looks absolutely brilliant oh well i'll have to wait for the DVD. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

The great thing about Kip and LaFawndah (besides the fact that she was from Detroit) was that they hooked up without any catch or trick ending. They just DUG each other...and were happy. Anytime you see a movie that uses Internet dating as a plot device, the girl always turns out to be a guy, or something like that.

And anytime you do the online dating thing, there's always some stretching of the truth.
